The Blu Wave original, re-designed for our 10^th anniversary season with new paulownia wood veneer deck and bottom. Built tough with our Timber-tech compression molded construction, the Woody 10.6 and 12.0 provide maximum strength to weight ratio and superior performance in a durable light-weight board. Fitted with multiple tie downs for deck stowage and a built in GoPro attachment, the Woody is the perfect answer for someone looking for a board that will do it all….in style! Our longboard inspired shape provides excellent glide on flat water and drive off waves, while our generous width at 31/32”, provides ample stability. In a move towards more sustainable construction methods we are using paulownia wood in the construction. Paulownia is one of the worlds fastest growing timbers, and has ideal strength to weight properties. Note: Production model will have solid painted rails.

Blu Wave The All Sport 10.10 EV Inflatible SUP

The Blu Wave Allsport iSUP 10.10 is the swiss army knife of inflatable SUPs. Designed as an all-round inflatable for recreational paddling, touring and fun in the waves, the Allsport’s shape is a hybrid of a traditional surf style SUP and longer/narrower touring inflatables. In the nose, we have a slightly pointed entry with mild rocker line to reduce plowing when paddling into chop or small waves, symptomatic of most all-round shape inflatables. Our Dropstitch Fusion construction allows inflation to 20 psi and has reduced the overall weight of the board by 15-20% while increases stiffness. Includes premium wheeled carry bag, pump, fin and repair kit. Our EV model provides a wider (33”) and thicker (6”) version of the Allsport suited for larger paddlers and those looking for more stability.

Shapers Notes: Hybrid nose shape provides reduced drag and plowing symptomatic of most inflatable all-rounders. Side carry handles provide un-interrupted deck surface ideal for yoga. EV model beginners up to 230 lbs / advanced up to 280 lbs.

Blu Wave Armada 10.6

As the name implies, this board is built tough. Constructed using Blu Wave’s all new ABS Thermo-Tech Construction, the Armada is a perfect all round board for someone looking for a rugged, durable SUP that won’t break the bank…or your back carrying it (30lbs). Our revolutionary thermo-tech construction combines traditional EPS composite board construction, with a thermo-molded outer skin of ultra tough ABS plastic to produce an extremely durable SUP. Rail tape provides additional durability with a strip of PVC rubber around the rail of the board to absorb paddle dings and impacts. Generous width (34”) and thickness have helped create our most stable board yet, perfect for teaching situations, or for those looking for their first SUP purchase. Our use of molded EPS foam blanks for the Armada eliminates foam waste typical during the board shaping process.

Shapers Notes: Rounded nose, generous width and thickness create a super stable platform, to accommodate riders of various sizes. At 10’6” long, the board is still maneuverable for a board of this volume. Nose rocker keeps nose up in chop and promotes planning. Suited to beginners up to 250 lbs / advanced up to 280 lbs.
